Information about Abhaya Mudra: This mudra is one of Protection, Reassurance and Blessing. This mudra symbolizes protection, peace, and the dispelling of fear. It is made with the right hand raised to shoulder height, the arm crooked, the palm of the hand facing outward, and the fingers upright and joined. The left hand hangs down at the side of the body.
As an illustrator for nearly two decades with a focus on children’s books, Jennifer Mazzucco’s passion has been the marriage of image and the written word. During this time she had also created her own community art space in NJ, worked with a number of non-profit art centers, taught college level art, earned a masters of education and visited India often. She spent the last nine years inspiring middle school children to follow their creative hearts and showing her Devotional artwork in galleries on the east coast. Jennifer recently moved out west and renovated the former kindergarten classroom of the Harmony School in Occidental into a Bhakti Center.
