Just made it in time for arati at this beautiful Devi temple in downtown Ganeshpuri. I love how in every town there is a place (or sometimes many places) for people to go and show their devotion to the deities. Each of the murtis are so taken care of with new clothing/flowers and candles every day (sometimes multiple times/day). It shows how deep their love is and inspires me greatly. Jai Ma Durga!

As an illustrator for nearly two decades with a focus on children’s books, Jennifer Mazzucco’s passion has been the marriage of image and the written word.
