After chasing this Ganesha in a truck with Holi dye covered men, we finally made it to the river where we were invited to arati with the family from Mumbai who brought him there. We lit and waved ghee lamps, sang, shared prasad and watched as they were carried into the river. It was a beautiful sight and a moment that will live in my heart forever. I even got to whisper a wish into his ear (hope it comes true!) Jai Ganesha
As an illustrator for nearly two decades with a focus on children’s books, Jennifer Mazzucco’s passion has been the marriage of image and the written word. During this time she had also created her own community art space in NJ, worked with a number of non-profit art centers, taught college level art, earned a masters of education and visited India often. She spent the last nine years inspiring middle school children to follow their creative hearts and showing her Devotional artwork in galleries on the east coast.
